More Information:
In an effort to get the community involved in our season's play selection, Angelo Civic Theatre has regular Play Readings, every third Saturday of the month starting at 1pm. Anyone can participate, whether planing on reading or coming to listen, everyone's input is appreciated.
Once the selected play has been completely read through, play readings conclude with a short 15 minute discussion and survey which asks for everyone's opinion about the play.
Scripts will be provided (the same amount of scripts as there are characters, including one for the narrator for the stage directions).
If you have any questions please call the ACT Box Office at (325) 949-4400, or RSVP by emailing the Box Office Manager.
***Important Note: Although it is rare, some scripts may have offensive language or themes. If you're easily offended, please be aware ahead of time that this is a process to assist the Theatre in season planning and to hear the text outloud. The point of Play Reading is to get a feel for the driving themes behind each storyline, and to see if it resonates with our community.***
