Youth Company Performance & Production Workshop
Angelo Civic Theatre provides an enriching environment of learning that develops the whole child in mind and spirit. The primary focus of the youth program is the process rather than the product. We believe, through the process of theatre arts, children learn valuable life lessons such as tolerance, communication, problem-solving skills, cooperation, respect for one's self and others, humility, and compassion. Children are able to see their hard work and dedication develop into meaningful stage productions. We believe it is this focus on the process that produces outstanding, magical, and energetic shows of high quality year after year! When children are inspired by their peers as well as by their own work, their lives are forever changed... and the world is the beneficiary!

You thought you knew the story of "The Princess and The Pea," you may be in for a walloping surprise! Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and melodic, this rollicking spin on the familiar classic of royal courtship and come-uppance provide for some side-splitting shenanigans. Changes are you'll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again.
*This production is the youth version (G2K) which has been reworked to be age appropriate for young actors.
