2022-2023 Season

  • Beauty and the Beast

    September 9-25, 2022

Be our guest! Singing teapots and candlesticks, an evil spell, and an unlikely love story are all part of the magic of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Based on the Academy Award–winning animated feature, the stage production includes all of the original songs from the movie by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman. The whole family will be enchanted by this gorgeous production, featuring stunning costumes and sets, spectacular dance numbers, and, of course, a fairy-tale ending.

  • Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

    October 21-30, 2022

A new and shocking version of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic tale of depravity, lust, love and horror. On the fog-bound streets of Victorian-era London, Henry Jekyll’s experiments with exotic “powders and tinctures” have brought forth his other self—Edward Hyde, a sensualist and villain free to commit the sins Jekyll is too civilized to comprehend. When Hyde meets a woman who stirs his interest, Jekyll fears for her life and decides to end his experiments. But Hyde has other ideas, and so the two sides battle each other in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse to determine who shall be the master and who his slave. With multiple Hydes portrayed by members of the cast.

  • White Christmas

    December 2-18, 2022

Based on the beloved film starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, and Rosemary Clooney, this heartwarming stage adaptation features 17 Irving Berlin songs. Army veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act following their service in World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former army commander. With a series of romantic mix-ups and a dazzling score including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” and the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting musical any time of year but especially loved at Christmas.

  • Moon Over Buffalo

    February 10-19, 2023

In the madcap comedy tradition of Lend Me a Tenor, the hilarious Moon Over Buffalo centers on George and Charlotte Hay, fading stars of the 1950s. On the brink of a disastrous split-up caused by George’s dalliance with a young ingénue, they receive word that they might just have one last shot at stardom: Frank Capra is coming to town to see their matinee, and if he likes what he sees, he might cast them in his movie remake of The Scarlet Pimpernel. Unfortunately for George and Charlotte, everything that could go wrong does go wrong.

  • Murder On The Orient Express

    April 14-23, 2023

The exotic Orient Express is about to go off the rails. With a train full of remarkable suspects and an alibi for each one, it’s the perfect mystery for detective Hercule Poirot. When the Agatha Christie estate approached Ken Ludwig to adapt Dame Agatha’s most enduring novel and put it on stage, he agreed with alacrity – just as quickly as it takes Hercule Poirot to solve the most thrilling case of his entire career. So wax your mustache and hold onto your passport for what has now become the most highly produced comedy-mystery in the world.

  • The Play That Goes Wrong

    June 2-18, 2023

The Play That Goes Wrong features an utterly terrible fictitious script executed utterly terribly by a group of fictitious actors… all of whom are brilliantly portrayed. Welcome to the production of Murder at Haversham Manor put on by the very sincere but totally inept company of actors of the Cornley Drama Society. An avalanche of disasters befalls the cast, including a ramshackle set, a leading lady with a concussion, and a corpse that can’t play dead. As the night wears on, this haphazard group of misfit actors struggles against a series of seemingly endless pitfalls to hilarious ends.
